WALKING LANDSCAPES METROPOLIS 2021 (DK)

The audience can follow the artist on a live stream during the 12-hour walking performance, which is a personal exploration of soil and water materials as a means to access roots and memory. Every hour, Vita stops to connect with a place through soil, water, and plants. She morphs and transforms materials, shaping them into moving masks. The mask conceals her face and identity, allowing her to imagine alternative existences. Occasionally, new, fleeting identities emerge, while at other times, creatures are summoned from memory, echoing the landscape of the past.
